We tend to elicit an emotional response towards almost everything around us, no matter its size (--). This behaviour may be observed from even the smallest, most mundane objects from our surroundings like the ground we walk on.
Our objective is to focus on the emotions we feel from our everyday environment and textures from our surroundings that would usually go unnoticed in our busy lives. We chose to focus on visual textures of plants and man-made objects in order to explore the connection between human emotions and visual textures. Visual texture refers to how the image or art creates a visual feel of the perceived surface of the work. We intend to apply the concept of visual concepts when capturing images for our archive so as to present interesting results with our p5js output.
